A dedicated willow weaver and the craftsperson behind Woven Farewell’s Sheffield workshop. After starting her career as a gravedigger at twenty-one, Abi developed a deep reverence for natural burials and the "greening" of UK funeral practices.

Today, she handcrafts 100% biodegradable willow coffins at the historic Portland Works, her business partner Sophia runs Woven Farewell’s Devon workshop.

Abi encourages families and loved ones to participate in the coffin weaving experience. This gentle, tactile ritual offers comfort, shared reflection and a deeply personal connection.

Abi will be holding willow weaving workshops across the weekend including communally woven pieces for the group ritual - The Coffin Route.
