DEAD GOOD is an award-winning, arts-based and eco-friendly death work social enterprise founded by sisters Katy and Lindsey Vigurs.

On a mission to expand public imagination around mortality, diminish the environmental impact of traditional funerals, and break down the taboos surrounding grief, they empower people to creatively participate in their own end-of-life planning, rituals, and legacy projects.

Katy is an experienced humanist funeral celebrant specializing in bespoke, green memorials, while Lindsey is an artist and illustrator who designs their unique, design-led educational resources.

Wandering with the Land - a self guided invitation from the DEAD GOOD Sisters to wander, to notice, to listen and to let the land meet you where you are. Grab a worksheet; some pencils and pens, something to lean on or a clipboard (if available) and let yourself drift through the living landscape. Follow your curiosity and use the promps to write, draw, remember, sense and intuit. This feels like such a simple activity but we recommend that you give yourself time and permission to connect deeply with yourself, the land and the more-than-human inhabitants. Wandering can be a profound experience.

The Midnight Moth - join LV & KV from DEAD GOOD for a reading of our inaugural mortality-themed picture book The Midnight Moth. Learn how to use the book at home or in community settings to start gentle conversations about saying goodbye, and about death, dying and grief.  Meanwhile you can make your own tiny fabric moth talisman: a mindful making activity so that our hands can be busy while we listen and chat.
