Films about death and dying, conversations about life and living
Newcastle based Dead Good Film Club roll-up with a specially curated selection of films to be screened each day at sundown.
Mirroring the themes of the festival, a rich mix of shorts, documentary and feature films across the weekend will spark conversations hosted by funeral designers and celebrants Andy Jones and Hal Branson from Down To Earth, alongside Christo Wallers, shepherd of the Wayfaring Cinema.
Over the past three years, Dead Good Film Club have hosted screenings and events in cinemas, libraries and festivals across the country. They are fuelled (or actually solar powered) by a belief that cinema functions as both an inspirational meeting place, alongside a tradition of expressing the emotions wrapped up in dying and living.
We are delighted to introduce the Wayfaring Cinema, and their pop-corn machine to The Sondering festival family.
