Musician and Sound facilitator Laurel works vulnerably and intentionally with sound as a medium to explore the intangible realms of consciousness and emotion.

Using her voice as her primary instrument she channels wordless, improvised vocalisations to communicate that which is beyond the grasp of words.

Inspired by the Celtic tradition of ritualised vocal lamentation called Keening, she uses her sound to embody and express the awe and ache of life.
