COACH AND ADVENTURE GUIDE + ACTIVIST + COMMUNITY CARE

Lauren is an adventure guide with a high-performance background and a mountain-sized heart. Growing up in the Lake District, the fells are woven into her identity, informing her belief in the deep link between movement, nature, and mental health. As an international-level athlete and the current women's record holder for the arduous Frog Whitton and Frog Graham rounds (frogs are friendly but these are hard!!), Lauren knows the heights of human performance - but her true passion lies in ensuring that these spaces are safe, joyful, and inclusive.

Her unique coaching approach, built on 15 years of racing experience, combines a degree in Psychology with an ILM Level 7 (Masters level) coaching qualification. She works with Missing Link Coaching and Team Renee McGregor, helping individuals reach their goals in a sustainable, healthy, and long-term way.

A fierce champion of community and inclusivity, Lauren’s work is driven by the conviction that the outdoors is for everyone. She actively champions the vital work of Anti Racist Cumbria and Black Trail Runners, dedicating her energy to making outdoor spaces welcoming and accessible to all. At The Sondering, Lauren invites you to explore the wild safely and with curiosity - expect guided wild swims and trails along the Coffin Route and beyond.
