MADAM west (aka Nic) serves hypnotic beats with percussive rhythms and a healthy dollop of bass. They craft sets that aim to move your mind, body and soul. As a doctor, they know all too well that music has the power to transform how we feel, and that music and dance are integral to keep us well. In 2023, they performed at the Rhizosphere at Glastonbury Festival, a venue that showcased queer femme DJs.

Over the last few years they have trained in different types of breathwork, somatic practices and more recently, in communal grief tending practices. They are committed to seeing how these tools can be used for collective liberation and social justice movements, and believe a key component of how we compost grief is moving our bodies to music.
